Port Fourchon Public Beach Access Bridge Open Again!

We surf fished the beach at Port Fourchon, La. Saturday morning! The beach access bridge and the 2 miles of public beach to the west is open again! Storms moved some beach sand around the last couple months but vehicle access (2 wheel drive) is still OK!! Water visibility looked great even with the 15-20 knot north winds! Two high and low tides today and not much range to either, but the north wind blows the water westward along the coast and the big fish hang out on the rough water side of the rocks at Belle Pass to ambush bait as all the water swept down the beach turns out to sea at the jetty. We caught a nice red about 2 ft long, a BIG bull red and a big blacktip shark in a few hours 11-2!! Fish Forever, Bob & Bobby!!!

Also caught and released a big fighting bull redfish!
