277° Re-phased 763cc Kit with Megacycle Cam:

38mm VM carbs, Megacycle camshaft, Dyna single tower single fire coils, and Wiseco 81mm pistons I milled the dome off to 9.6 to 1.

277° .MPG Movie / Audio Clip: http://www.650motorcycles.com/mov05521.mpg

I cut the ends off of a pre 1980 stock cam and then pressed the bushing and needle bearing (pair) that is in each end out. Needed for the governor rod installation in the Megacycle camshaft.

The cam sprocket got pressed off and on 4 times and degreed in repeatedly to get this cam timing where I want it. Performance valve springs and retainers shown.

The valve guides I lowered in the heads to clear the .440" lift Megacycle cam.

2 Megacycle hardweld lobe camshafts for a 277° / 83° rephased motor.
Two lobes have been moved on each cam and hardwelded in the new positions required for the rephased 277°/83° crankpin positions. Valve duration / lift specs are for Megacycle grind .440" lift. 271° duration at .040". 103.5° lobe centers. Flawless work by Megacycle Cams.

GS Suzuki copper head bolt washers on the 4 outside studs.

Ceramic coated 1 3/4" Omar headpipes and new chrome classic megaphones.

I mounted the two new high performance Dyna ignition coils on each side of the bike "out in the breeze" with short high tension leads like we do on drag bikes. They are too large to fit under the stock tank properly.

763cc modified Wiseco piston domes.

A 277° firing order engine does not vibrate like the stock 360° engine, and it will pull smoothly on up the rpm scale. We can do "477" engines only from (1974-1983)
