Fishing Knots

I have 11 ft. and 12ft. Surf Casting Rods and the Special Knot I use to Join the 10 ft shock leader end of 50lb test monofiliament line to the 350yds of 12lb backing line is called a "shockleader knot" this drawing was sent to me, I don't know where it came from, if it is copyrighted please e-mail me.

The 50 lb test line is necessary when casting with a heavy lure or pyramid sinker & bait combination, also when playing big fish that drag the business end over Spanish Galleons, Oyster Reefs, Etc. and for Landing and Beaching Large Fish!

A new "SuperLine" with a knot for joining "Mono" to "Superline"! AND "Superline to Superline"! I use Power Pro 65lb for a shockleader, and 400 yards of power Pro 30 lb test backing!!

These two knots, a improved Trilene Knot, and a Palomar Knot are the 4 knots we use.
