Bed Heating and Cooling System

People in many countries both foreign and domestic use electric blankets and heated water beds to keep warm in cold weather. Though there is some controversy generated about the health effects of the electromagnetic fields generated by electric blankets during sleep, these blankets can still be used to warm up a bed and turned off before sleep. Water beds have no such problem, and when equipped with a thermostat and heater are very effective warmers. However, neither of these methods is any good at all when it comes to cooling a bed in hot weather, in contrast to Aqua-Therm 2000 Heating & Cooling Blanket which is.

Water is pumped continuously through strong narrow tubing inside the blanket's specifically constucted lining. The temperature of the water is controlled by a thermostat on the blankets heating/cooling controller unit, the controller unit is designed to sit on a night stand next to the bed. Inside the heating/cooling controller, in addition to the heating and cooling elements, a silent micro pump keeps the water flowing through the blanket. The returning water is passed over the heating/cooling elements inside the controller unit before it is pumped back into the blanket. In this way the Aqua-Therm 2000 Heating & Cooling Blanket can be used to cool down a bed in the summer, or to heat it up in the winter.

The Aqua-Therm 2000 can be used like any regular blanket, (draped over the sleeper) and is made with a machine washable slip cover. The bedside heating/cooling controller unit has an on/off switch, temperature control switch, water level moniter, water fill port, and a thermostat that automatically shuts the controller unit on and of controlling the temperature of the blanket as well as saving electricity during the night. This blanket, useful year-round, can be sold in waterbed stores, department stores, bedding stores, discount chains, etc... Each blanket and unit will be produced in various colors to match any bedroom decor.
