77 Speckled Trout, 25 Keepers!

Port Fourchon Public Beach, La.

We fished the remaining 2 mile long west end of Port Fourchon Public Beach Thursday morning. Wind was 5 knots from the north and conditions were perfect, falling tide from daybreak on brought emerald green water moving west, and the trout turned on!! The Annual Tarpon Rodeo is on in Grand Isle through Saturday but we had a Speckled Trout Rodeo at the beach! We got 77 Speckled Trout and ended up with 25 nice keepers! We released lots of 11 1/2 inch trout for next summer! We also got some White Trout, Ladyfish, and a Whiting. All on our lures, gave some to a guy named Dave surf fishing, he was from Baton Rouge, La. that came over to see what we were catching all the fish on!! This happens pretty often!! If you see us, stop by! Conditions are forecast to be the same for tommorow, (Sat.) so Come Catch Some!!

Big Speckled Trout! Caught on Rangatang fishing lures!

25 Nice Trout, just add Cajun Seasoning's!

4 White Trout, 1 Channel Mullet (whiting), and a couple Ladies at the bottom!

Dolphins played right along the shore!
