Shark Fishing Photos!

I made a shark photo page because of many request to see shark photos of some of the sharks we caught and released. Some of the larger ones, called "freight trains" are to big for our gear and just keep going so we don't get that many real big ones. Many, many times I have cleared the beach of swimmers as parents and others think I am an insane idiot for releasing a feared, dreadful, hated shark with humans in the water. Currently: in April, May, and June it is state law that they be released. I have just about 2 minutes to photo and release them.

Better stay out of their water world if you are concerned about shark attacks. Occassionaly I get flamed from shark lover fanatics for catching sharks. We catch them when fishing for Trout and Redfish, they are plentiful in our area. I could kill dozens, instead I handle live thrashing sharks as I set them free. The law really is a shark law, hell with the adults and kids swimming in the sharks world. I understand fully that I am a stranger in their environment and proud to be a visitor there. The folks on the beach think otherwise!
