Buckets Of Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Ribbon Fish and a Blue Eyed Sea Robin!
Port Fourchon Public Beach, La.
We surf fished the Port Fourchon, Louisiana Public Beach west end Saturday and caught White Trout by the bucket full, we also caught and released a beautiful Mangrove Snapper that hit our lures while surf fishing! That was a first! Love the surprises! Also got another big Ribbon Fish on our lures too! You could catch White Trout on every cast all day long, literally!! Buckets of Trout Unlimited! I released over 80 small trout! We would come in to rest our arms and hope some specs showed up, got only one keeper Speckled Trout the whole day! Herds of Dolphins fed on the fish all day! They jump and play and a pair of Dolphins threw a trout back and forth like passing a football for awhile! The greatest free show on surf!
